What is the Club
all about?
The Beagle Club of NSW (Australia)
was formed in 1962 and membership is open to everyone interested
in the promotion and welfare of beagles and who
generally just have a love for this wonderful breed.
The Club is for
anyone who loves beagles, of course its great if you do already
own a beagle but it isn't essential. We have activities for pet owners and
exhibitors alike and we look forward to welcoming you as a member.
The cost for membership for 2008/2009 is $25 for a year which runs
from 1st July to 30th June (If you apply after the December meeting and
before the April meeting, the cost is $13) which
includes all members of the family and our bi-monthly magazine,
called "Harking In" which is sent to all members giving
all the latest information on Club activities and the world of
beagles. You will find a Membership
Application form on the next page.
Some of our
activities include Sniffing Around Sydney Walks, Snoopy Fun Days,
Basic Obedience Training, a Christmas in July weekend at Cootamundra
(held in conjunction with Field Days for the beagles) and two
Championship Beagle Shows.
If you enjoy
spending time with your beagle and meeting other beagle owners
then I am sure there would be an activity you could enjoy. You can
find out more about the Club's activities by using the
Fun Activities link on the left hand side
menu.
We are also happy
to help if you are having problems with your beagle whether
behavioural or health related. A number of
our members have been associated with beagles for many years and
in most cases they will be able to offer advice. If they are
unable to help, then they may be able to put you in touch with
someone who can. Please have a look at the
Contact Details
to see
which of our Committee members will be right for your particular
problem.
The Club also has
a Rescue and Rehoming Service where we assist beagle owners to find
a home for beagles that they can no longer keep. This has proven
to be very successful over the past few years that it has been
available. If you are looking for an older beagle then the Club
may have one available that will be just right for you.

We would love to welcome you, your family and
your beagle(s) as members of the Club.
If you would like to join then please go to the next page for full
details and an Application Form
