Kyeemagh
It was a lovely day when we gathered for our walk starting from the Kyeemagh boat ramp. Parking was scarce and so we waited a little while for everyone to arrive. While waiting, one poor walker had the unpleasant experience of being a dog post, that's right, a urinally challenged male beagle wee'ed on a walker! Not nice.
We set off along a flat bicycle path, which runs all the way along Cook Park, Brighton-Le-Sands. We met a lot of other walkers, with and without dogs, and numerous cyclists. So we needed to be on our toes (and paws) to dodge the traffic.
The walk very pleasant and uneventful. The humans admired the lovely scenery along Botany Bay. The beagles focussed on the many groups of people having picnics, especially people with barbeques and sausages. Some lucky dogs snapped up a few hot chips and bread rolls. It was pretty much beagle paradise - almost all dogs got a little something along the way.
Half-way through the walk, around Monterey, we stopped at the convenient kiosk and ordered a coffee or ice-cream (or both!) and spent a very pleasant 20 minutes or so resting. More beagles had a snack and drink of water.
After our rest, we walked back along the same path to Kyeemagh boat ramp to finish off a very easy, enjoyable, and relaxing walk.
Thanks to David and Lyn Tennant for these photos.
